  • You Can Do I.T.!Time: 2pm - 4pm

    Tech Support Sessions: You Can Do I.T! Banwell Parish Council Logo. National Lottery Community Fund logo.

    Are you a complete I.T. beginner wanting to learn from scratch? Do you know your way around a computer, but want to brush up on your digital skills? Or do you have a specific tech question you'd like to ask our experts? If yes, then you might like to come along to our digital inclusion sessions!

    You Can Do I.T is open to anyone of all ages looking to improve their I.T. skills, Thursdays 2-4pm.

    You can bring your own devices or use ours. 

    Sessions take place at Banwell Youth & Community Centre. Tea and coffee will be available.

    The North Somerset Libraries' Mobile Library Van will be at the West Street car park in Banwell from 2:40pm to 4:30pm on Thursday the 1st of February 2024.

    Occasionally bad weather or breakdown may cause the service to be delayed or withdrawn. If you think you have been affected, please call 01275 888 864 or email mobile.library@n-somerset.gov.uk

  • Banwell women’s Institute - Essential Oils and Aromatherapy @ Banwell Village Hall Time: 19.30-21.00

    Banwell WI invite you to join us at our February meeting at the Village Hall 7.30pm- 9 pm .

    Joining us tonight is Valarie Tripp she has been a beauty therapist and complimentary therapist for 46 years and she will be teaching us about essential oils and aromatherapy .

    Refreshments, raffle,bring and buy table ,  All food bank donations accepted. 
     

    WI membership for this year is just £33 for the year and will be due at our April Meeting . This includes 8 magazines, free access to Denman online training courses, free membership to Community Scrap Store, discount at local stores available .
    Flower of the month competition .

    Visitors  £4 and new members  always welcome

    Tea & Tech is our over-50s support group, for anyone over 50 who would like some help with digital devices, Tuesdays 2-4pm.

  • Fun For One Cooking ClassTime: 10am to 12pm; 6:30pm to 8pm

    A blonde lady in a chef’s apron tastes some jam from a teaspoon. Fun For One! Thursdays 10 am - 12 pm, & 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm. Banwell Y.C.C. Starting February 29th, 2024.

    Our free "Fun For One" classes begin today! There will be weekly sessions on Thursday mornings and evenings (10am to 12pm, and/or 6:30pm to 8pm).

    Each session will focus on a different topic teaching cooking for one person. Sessions may include: how to use an air fryer/slow cooker; saving money whilst cooking; and bulk cooking and freezing for one.
