Banwell All Weather Path
Upcoming Construction: All-Weather Path & Toddler Play Area Improvements
We are pleased to announce that the construction of a 300m all-weather path has been awarded to GB Sport following a competitive tender process. This project will enhance accessibility and usability throughout the year.
Project Details
- Contractor: GB Sport
- Length: 300 meters
- Features: Six passing places and a vehicle-friendly section
- Materials: ConiPave, a durable and permeable surface designed for long-term resilience
Construction will begin following the February half-term. Please bear with us as areas of the recreation ground will be fenced off for safety reasons during this time.
At the same time, we will also be installing wet pour surfacing under the toddler equipment in the toddler play area. This improvement will ensure the area remains usable throughout the year, providing a safer and more accessible surface for young children.
