What do we do?

The Parish Council's duties include:

• Management of Banwell Recreation Ground, Riverside play area and other specific land within the parish and the provision of services such as the Youth Club, some street lights, litter clearance, dog waste bins, etc
• Management of Banwell Cemetery
• Reviewing and commenting on all planning applications within the Parish
• Liaison with relevant authorities regarding infrastructure/policing/community issues to represent your views and get the best advantage for the local area
• Engaging with all interested parties regarding the current and future shape of life in the local area

Who are we?

The Parish has twelve Councillors elected by the residents every four years.
